Pengo calls an HTTPS endpoint you configure, signed so you know it’s Pengo, and uses the answer in its reply. Custom connectors is included on Starter, Team, Business, Plus and Enterprise.

Call your own backend
Calls an endpoint you set up, signed by Pengo, to look something up or make a change in your own system.
- What it does: makes a change in Custom connectors (high risk).
- Starts on: Ask first. You can set it to Off, Team only, Ask first, Auto.
- Who it’s for: Any visitor.
- Teammates: can run it from the Actions button in the inbox.
- AI credits: 10 per run, charged only when it runs.
For example:
- Look up a booking in your own system
- Check a warranty against your database
- Trigger a change your app supports
