Use Pengo on Apple Watch
See who needs you, take over chats from Pengo Intelligence, reply by voice or with saved replies, and add Pengo complications to your Apple Watch face.
The Apple Watch app is for the moments you’re away from your phone: see who’s waiting, take over a chat from Pengo Intelligence and send a quick reply.
#Get started
Open Pengo on your watch. It signs in through your iPhone, so there’s nothing to type. If it says Open Pengo on your iPhone and sign in, do that and tap Check again.
#The three pages
Turn the Digital Crown or swipe up and down to move between pages:

The pages refresh on their own while the app is open.
#Take over and reply
Tap a chat to see its last few messages. Then:
- Take over: takes a chat nobody has yet. You can also double tap (pinch your thumb and finger twice) to take it without touching the screen.
- Reply: dictate or type a reply and send it.
- Saved replies: tap one of the saved replies under Reply to send it straight away.
- Resolve: closes a chat you own.
#Notifications on your watch
When your iPhone is locked, Pengo alerts appear on your watch. Use Accept to take a new chat or handoff, or Reply to answer from your wrist. Tapping a handoff or new chat alert takes the chat and opens it on the watch.
Pengo Actions approval requests show the action and amount on your watch, with Approve and Decline. See Approve from anywhere.

#Complications
Add the Intelligence Pulse complication to your watch face. It shows how many chats Pengo Intelligence is handling and how many people are waiting for you. It comes in circular, corner, rectangular and inline styles. Tap it to open Pengo on your watch.
If you turned on the Intelligence Pulse on your iPhone, it also shows in your watch’s Smart Stack.
Common questions
Do I sign in on the watch?
No. The watch uses your iPhone's Pengo session. If the watch says Open Pengo on your iPhone and sign in, sign in on your iPhone and tap Check again.
Can I reply from the watch without opening the app?
Yes. Pengo alerts on your watch have the same Accept and Reply actions as on your iPhone.
Does the watch app work without my iPhone?
The watch gets access from your iPhone, so keep your iPhone signed in to Pengo and within reach of the watch.
